Here are some attractions of each country. Darvaza Gas Crater (Door to Hell), Ancient Cities of Merv and Nisa, Samarkand, Bukhara. Each country in this region offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, making it a fascinating destination for travelers interested in exploring off-the-beaten-path destinations. The Silk Road legacy is evident in the ancient cities and trade routes, and the warm hospitality of the local people adds to the allure of these Central Asian nations.
Departure to Ashgabat by Turkmanistan airlines(04:40-10:30). Upon
arrival welcoming by Turkmen guide. Check in the hotel. Take-away
lunch-box and trip to Gaz crater “Darvaza”. Arrive in the evening
and free time and have adinner near te crater. Return to Ashgabat.
Overnight in Ashgabat.
After breakfast you will explore Spiritual Mosque, one of the biggest
mosques in Central Asia. You will visit the National Museum of
History, the Monument of Neutrality and newly built
Independence Park. Intense and interesting excursion also includes a
stopover at the Akhalteke horse stables (if available). Evening flight
to Turkmenabat (19:20-20:00) Arrive and check in the hotel.
Overnight in Turkmenabat.
Take-away breakfast. Morning transfer to Bukhara through Farab
border. Arriving in Bukhara and start walking sightseeing tour in
Bukhara. Visit Nakshbandi mausoleum, Ark Fortress - is a
residence of Bukhara khans. According to the last excavations, it was
determined the citadel was on this place from 4 century BC, Kalon
Ensemble - is one of the outstanding monuments of Bukhara, dating
back to the fifteenth century. , Miri-Arab Madrasah - There are two
big blue domes of the Miri-Arab madrasah towering above the
surrounding buildings in the center of Bukhara. Dinner at restaurant
with folk show dance.
Overnight in Bukhara.
Breakfast at hotel and coach trip to Samarkand. Arrival to Samarkand
and visit Gur Emir Mausoleum - One of the most significant
architectural ensembles of medieval East – the Gur Emir was built in
the southwestern part of Samarkand at the beginning of the XV c.
Next visit spectacular Registan Square, there is one of the most
mysterious and unique architectural monuments of Samarkand,
ShakhiZinda complex,shopping in Siab bazaar. Dinner at restaurant.
Overnight in Samarkand.
Breakfast take away. Transfer to Panjekent border between
Uzbekistan and Tajikstan. Passing the border. Transfer to Iskandarkul
- a tranquil gem nestled in the Fann Mountains. Enjoy a leisurely walk
around the lake, take in the stunning mountain views, and explore the
nearby waterfall or visit a local family to experience Tajik hospitality.
Overnight near Iskanderkul.
After breakfast head to Khujand city. Upon arrival to Khujand lunch
at restaurant. It’s also one of Tajikistan’s oldest town, founded by
Alexander the Great in IV BC. Sightseeing: Visit Historical museum
of Sughd region, Eastern market Panjshanbe, mausoleum Shaykh
Muslihiddin. Dinner at a local restaurant
Overnight in Khujand.
After early breakfast, transfer to Kokand via Andarkhan border. Upon
arrival to Kokand city, visit Khudajar Khan Palace of Kokand. This
is among the last great buildings of Islam architecture. Continue
journey at Rishtan town - For many centuries, Rishtan has been – and
still is famous for its pottery. Characteristic of Rishtan pottery is its
flatware with geometrical arabesques, plant motifs and illustrations of
animals and people. Then you continue on to Margilan. Arrival at
Margilan town. and visit Margilan Silk Factory, shopping in bazaar.
Free and easy. Dinner at restaurant.
Overnight in Margilan.
Breakfast at hotel. Excursion Babur museum and masterclass
cooking at Chontak Choykhana. Transfer to Kyrgyzstan through
Dustilk border. Go through border control. Upon entry flight to
Bishkek on AviaTraffic (18:40 -19:20). Arrival in Bishkek and check
in the hotel. Dinner.
Overnight in Bishkek.
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour will follow, featuring Philharmonic, the
statue of Kyrgyz National Hero Manas, Ala-Too square,
Monument of Independence, Old square, and shopping at TSUM.
Dinner at Restaurant. Free and easy.
Overnight in Bishkek
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Coach trip to Almaty. Upon arrival Almaty
layover tour starts with a visit to Panfilov Park – named after the 28
heroes, who died for freedom and independence of the country.
Zenkov Cathedral - the oldest building of the city, that is entirely
wooden, built without any metal nails and a Memorial complex
devoted to World War Two and with an eternal flame. Dinner at a
local restaurant.
Overnight in Almaty.
Breakfast at hotel. Free time until 11:00. Check out the hotel. Clear all
extra bills. Trip to Kok Tobe park, located at the height of 1100
meters on the green hill. From here it will be possible to take a ride on
comfortable cable car and within 10 minutes admire the magnificent
panoramic view of the city. Shopping in Green bazaar. Dinner at
restaurant. Drive to Almaty Airport. Flight to KLIA by AirAsia
(20:05 - 06:05+1). Home Sweet Home!
